"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." - Hellen Keller

NY based author, Patricia Young, lives about three miles east of the Hudson River in Greenburgh. She graduated from Concordia College with a BA in Education. Following her teaching career in Bayside, Queens, she began working with her husband for an international defense industry, until finally establishing herself as an entrepreneur in her intimate community.

Patricia recalls, her passion for writing blossomed during a writing retreat hosted by renowned author Laura Munson. The enlightening experience took place in Montana, where she was encouraged to write outside her comfort zone. This newly found confidence pushed her toward exciting new literary avenues which led to her first published article in Crossroads Motorcycle Magazine. Patricia’s most recently published works are two poems entitled Sounds in The Library, and Bridges in the book, Visions: An Anthology of Ekphrastic Poetry.

Currently working towards publication of her debut mystery novel, Patricia graciously acknowledges the unwavering support of her family and friends who continue to see her visions bloom into reality with every passing day.

"Breathe Deep. Think Peace." - P. Young
